Plastics expertise with a history
HA-WI Kunststoffe has been combining the experience of two traditional companies since 1998. High-quality in-house products and technical plastic parts are produced at the Bad Laasphe site – developed using state-of-the-art technology and the highest quality standards.
History
The name HA-WI Kunststoffe is made up of the first letters of the company founders Hackler and Wied.
HA-WI Kunststoffe GmbH & Co. KG was formed in 1998 through the merger of KURI Kunststoff Verarbeitungs GmbH, founded in Bonn in 1959, and HA-WI Kunststoffe GmbH, which has been based in Bad Laasphe since 1972, bringing together decades of expertise in plastics processing. At the Bad Laasphe site, the product ranges of both companies were combined and expanded in line with market requirements, while at the same time the areas of technical articles and the catalog range were continuously expanded. Parallel to the expansion of the range of services, the company invested in modern technology and implemented a comprehensive quality management system to ensure the highest standards in all production processes.
The result of this successful development is today’s company with its three main product divisions: in-house program, technical parts and BAKRA® quick clamping systems, which reflect the versatile expertise and innovative strength of HAWI Kunststoffe.
Since 01.03.2024, we have been represented by our new Managing Director Henning Afflerbach, who was already working for HA-WI before taking up his current position and had already completed his training with us.
